Daniel Davis

Project Manager

Daniel Davis serves as a Project Manager at FormWood, where he supports custom project requests by managing specification capture, value engineering, veneer grading guidance, panel layouts, and customer communication from quote through completion. Since joining FormWood in 2014, Daniel has helped ensure customers receive accurate, high-quality solutions for highly customized veneer applications.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in the lumber industry, Daniel developed an early appreciation for wood products and craftsmanship. Before FormWood, he worked as a Purchasing Manager for an Italian yacht tender manufacturer and as a healthcare data specialist. What he values most about FormWood is the company’s ownership mentality, attention to detail, and commitment to making projects right for customers.

I enjoy working closely with customers through projects from beginning to end. Seeing the completed work and hearing that customers are thrilled with the final result is incredibly rewarding.

Favorite Wood Species: Figured Walnut, Crotch Walnut, and Santos Rosewood.
Favorite Local Restaurant: Perso, La Bodeguita de Mima, and Hammerheads.
Outside of Work: Daniel is a musician who enjoys playing drums at his church and outside of work, you might also find him enjoying some woodworking projects or exploring music, ranging from Americana to jazz, rock, blues, and soul.
