Tom Ballard serves as FormWood’s Operations Manager, overseeing Production, Purchasing & Logistics, Quality, and Maintenance. Since joining FormWood in 2016, Tom has helped drive teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Coming from a background in automotive manufacturing and plant management, Tom was drawn to FormWood’s strong balance between performance, family values, and thoughtful hiring culture. What he values most about FormWood is its people, collaborative mindset, and shared commitment to doing things right. He believes the company’s culture of teamwork, care, and continuous improvement directly contributes to the high-quality products customers receive.
What I enjoy most about my work is seeing the teamwork and cooperation across departments, along with the continuous improvement mindset that helps us deliver exceptional products to our customers.

- Favorite Local Restaurant: Tom enjoys spending time on his farm with his family, and especially his grandchildren.
- Outside of Work: Outside of work, Tom spends time operating his hobby farm, hunting, fishing, raising beef cattle, and enjoying classic rock music.
